When we cease to employ our creative abilities and choose to be dependent on others, institutions and/or organizations, we are ceding our divine position to such and thus choosing to be their subjects. This is a serious betrayal of self. This truth is further explained in Matthew 25:29 To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away (New Living Translation). When you are productive you increase your self-worth, knowledge and possessions and you are able to positively impact your immediate surroundings.

We may not all be entrepreneurs but we can do something to earn an additional income by investing in income generating activities. We are warned in Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou has rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee of the devastating power of ignorance. The only way to deal with ignorance is through enlightenment when we develop a sense of clarity and understanding; educate ourselves so that we become illuminated; inspire and nurture our thinking and creative abilities.

Truth be told, poverty is the product of non-productivity and unemployment not being able to fully utilize ones abilities, talents, and gifts to effect the benevolent chain reaction to change ones situation into a desired one. In order to discover and manifest the life you want, you must start to recognize your inherent potential for greatness, focus on your talents and abilities and develop them. You must start to appreciate and be grateful for the positive things in your life.

There is everything lovely, praiseworthy, and of virtue in legally and ethically thinking about creative ways to earning a living. The truth is that you are what you think about most of the time and your thoughts affect your behaviour, attitude and actions which end up shaping your life. It is important to keep yourself occupied with positive thoughts and creative ideas as that will lead to a productive life. You must be consciously thoughtful of what it is you want to do and achieve. It is the choices and decisions we make and the thoughts we think that determine how we live our lives. Thoughts, influenced by our beliefs and values create our reality.
